MOTOR CYCLIST FINED.
DANGEROUS RIDING. MAGISTRATE’S COMMENT. (By Telegraph—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 17. “You have to remeniber that there are other people entitled to U6e the King’s highway and to use it with reasonable enjoyment,” said Mr Levien, S.M., in the Onehunga Police Court in fining Sydney Raymond August £3 for dangerous riding, and 10s for having no silencer on his motor cycle. Sergeant Gruickshank stated that accused had been warned previously. “This young man is making a regular nuisance of himself,” witness continued. Constable Hunter said that he saw accused riding at between 40 and 50 miles an hour. The noise.of the motor cycle was offensive. The magistrate warned accused that if he appeared again lie would be prohibited from riding a motor cycle.
