NEW ZEALAND’S PARTICIPATION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 18. •' Tho announcement of the New Zealand ladies’ hockey team to participate in the Empire tourney in South Africa has been deferred until October 2nd on account of the difficulty that has arisen over the number of players, to be sent. The New Zealand Ladies’ Hockey Association is now awaiting a reply to cables sent to the South African authorities. 0 It has been announced definitely that women officials only shall accompany the team.
