EFFECT bF REDUCED PRICES
SERIOUS IN AUSTRALIA. A WARNING GIVEN. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received September 19, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 19. The reduction in the world prices of wool and wheat lias created a very serious position in Australia. This was the substance of a warning given by Sir Norman Kater, a leadin'' grazier, in the Legislative Council to-day. . „ The fall in wool prices, Sir N orman stated, was estimated at 35 per cent., and it was now extremely difficult for small farmers and graziers to make ends meet.
