SEVERE BURNS.
CHILD IN CRITICAL CONDITION. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 20. Severe burns were sustained by a daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Peterson, of Victoria Valley, aged four years, through failing backwards into a dish of boding fowl food. She is in the Kaitaia Hospital, where her condition is regarded as critical.
