There is a very good demand for eggs and prices have firmed slightly. First grade lien eggs. Is 3d per dozen; seconds, Is Id per dozen; duck eggs, Is 3d per dozen. There is a small supply of fresh poultry, hut the main supply is ex cool store. White Leghorns, 5s to 6s per pair; Black Orpingtons, 7s to 9s per pair; ducks, 10s to 14s per pair; chicken, Is per lb.
