FATHER HANGED.

CONDEMNED BY FAMILY, (Australian Press Association.) BUDAPEST, Sept. 18. Declaring that he had worked long enough and that his family were old enough to fend for themselves, a grocer named Szafco, in the village of Keeskemet, informed them that he was selling the business and retiring. The family held a council of w;ar and the youngest daughter, a pnzß debater, harangued him on his family responsibilities. Szabo retorted that his wife had become a shrew and that the children were ungrateful. He had given them the best years of his life. The family thereupon condemned him to death and hung him to a beam in the shop, removing a chair on which he was placed. Nest morning the prospective buyer of the business was confronted with the man’s dead body. When the police arrived the family justified their act.
