SOCCER FOOTBALL.
MANAWATU v. HAWKE’S BAY. Soccer enthusiasts locally have not yet had the good fortuno to see the Manawatu representatives in action this season, but an opportunity will bo afforded them to-morrow. Hawke's Bay, with % much stronger team than that which drew with South Auckland, are visiting Palmerston North. The home eleven will not be as powerful an attacking combination as that which trounced Wanganui, owing to Corkindale not being available. Still, thensupporters are confident of another win. Mr H. Bird will referee. As a curtain-raiser, a Manawatu under 18 years team will oppose Marist (Wellington) fourth' grade.
