NEW ZEALAND COLLIE CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The fourth annual report and bal-ance-sheet of the above club was submitted to members at the annual meeting held at Auckland. The president (Mr H. Clay) complimented the club upon its excellent financial position, and upon the enthusiasm and goodwill that existed amongst the fanciers of the breed throughout the Dominion. He stated that the operations of the club had ■undoubtedly improved the standard of collies, by the encouragement it had given to breeders. The membership had been advanced during tho past year, and a similar advance was looked for during the ensuing period. Mr Clay extended to tho hon. secretary (Mr H. A. Craig), and the hon. treasurer (Mr A. J. Bennett) tho appreciation of tho club for the work they had performed on its behalf._ The annual report stated that during the year the following cups were won outright: —Wellington Cup, Miss Hocking, Palmerston North: Hutt Cup, Mr W. H. Prickett, Hamiltonj Waitemata Cup, Mr W. H. Prickett, Hamilton. Mr W. H. Prickett was also again successful in winning the points shield. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted: —Patron, Mr Eliot Davis, Auckland; president, Mr H. Clay, Auckland; vice-presi-dents, Lieut.-Colonel E. G. Fraser, (Auckland), W. A. Barrington (Paeroa), mouth; committee, Mrs R. Lewis, Messrs M. Connors, W. Quigley (Auckland), W. A. Barington (Paeroa), T. Hocking (Palmerston North), T. Mcßain (Wellington), A. H. Hardie (Wanganui), W. H. Prickett (Hamilton); hon. secretary, Mr H; A. Craig; hon. treasurer, Mr A. J. Bennett; auditor,, Mr R. G. Morfitt.
