AMERICAN PARTY.
TOUR OF ORIENT AND AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association.) SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 2L Tho Malola, with 325 passengers on board, sailed to-day on a tour of the Orient and Australia. A great crowd saw the vessel leave, and she was escorted through the Golden Gate by a fleet of harbour craft; whistles blew and bands played. The Mayor of San Francisco, Mr Ralph, was unable to make the trip, but Mr Robert Lynch, vice-president of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, is a passenger. It is indicated that the managers plan elaborate entertainments on board the liner in reciprocation for the hospitality shown to the party at the various ports of call.
