POVERTY BAY CHAMPIONSHIPS. EASY WIN FOR G. M. DOGSHUN. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Sept. 21. The Poverty Bay golf championship was won by G. M. Dogshun who beat N. Bull 7 up and 5 to play. HAGEN’S AUSTRALIAN VISIT. (Australian Press Association.) NEW YORK. Sept. 21. Hagen has often arrived late at the tee for a match, but when he appears on the Australian links it will he just a year later than he originally intended. Hagen to-day let it be known that in 1928 he was going to the Antipodes, but the venture was abandoned. He, in fact, had intended to make the trip three years ago, but now the champion, who is touring the country, announces that lie will without fail display his golfing wares in Australia after he has participated in the professional championship in California. Kirkwood will be playing as his partner. '
