IN CRITICAL CONDITION. Inquiries at the Hospital to-day disclosed that Hubert Sydney Horry, who was in some unknown manner involved in a motor cyoling accident late on Friday evening, is in a very critical condition. The injured youth, who is 17 years of age, is a son of Mrs A. I. Crowley, of 365 Main Street. An employee of the Post- and Telegraph Department at Ashhurst, the youth left his mother’s house about 10 p.m. to return to Ashhurst. He was riding a borrowed motor cycle which was noticed by a passing motor driver to be lying on the side of the road near the Ashhurst railway station. The vicinity was searched for the rider, but no trace of him could be found. Shortly after ,seven o’clock, however, the youth, smothered in blood, staggered into the yard of Mr yr- t rass’s bakery and collapsed in a doorway. He was seen to be in a serious condition and was immediately ;taken to Hospital. So far, nothing is known of what actually happened to the youth and where he was between 10.30 p.m. and the time he reached Mr Trass’s bakery. All that lie has said is that “he pushed me over.” The damago to his motor cycle is said to be only •light. '
