The weather was so hot recently in Washington that horses collapsed in the street and eggs were fried on the ho.t pavements. Rain water collected at Watford, Hertfordshire, England, contains more chemical matter —i.e., sulphate—than that collected at Westminster, proving that London air is, at times at least, purer than the air in the suburbs. Draped effectively for your inspection, you will find a set of Rayons in window 13. They portray one tone only, but the ground will give you an idea of our extensive stocks. Duplicated in the dress section in every wanted tone. Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd. —Advt. 1
