MOTOR CLUB PICNIC.
The Manawatu Alotor Club commenced the season with a most enjoyable picnic last week-end at Bulls. There were 100 motor cyclists present. A sports meeting was conducted, results being as follow: —Thread tlie needle race, Alias Tingate and Air J. Alanning; cigarette lighting race, Aliss Rodgers and Air E. Barltrop; tilting at ring. Air E. Pink; potato race, Aliss Rodgers and Air E. Barltrop ; potato race on foot, Air J. Campbell; musical chairs, Aliss Simpson and Mr E. Pink. A thrilling event was a motor cycle football match for the Alanawatu Alotor Football Cup. After a well contested game, Alessrs AI. Smith, Annabell, Limbrick, Barltrop, Pink and Berquist, representing Palmerston North, withstood a challenge from Coleman, Jones, Tolley, Spiers, Nicholls and Adams (Feilding).
