DESTROYED BY FIRE.
SETTLER’S HOMESTEAD. ' Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Sept. 23. The homestead of Mr Robert Grant, a well-known settler on the Ngarua-wahia-Taupiri Road, was burned to the ground last night. The family escaped in their night attire. The insurances are £7OO on the house and £3OO on the furniture.
