Another spoon competition was commenced on Monday evening by the ' Linton Rifle Club when some very good scores were registered, J. McAvinue again getting a “double” pos--1 sible and singles being, obtained by H. ' G. Byers, J. Dalziel, H. Hosking and ;F. Lewis. Following are the detailed , scores:—J. McAvinuo 70-70-140; JDalziel, 68-70-138; J. Griffiths, 69-69-138; G. H. Shelley, 69-69-138; H. Bar--1 low, 69-68-137; J. Craig, 69-68-137; B. G. Salmons, 69-68-137; H. G. Byers, 70-67-137; H. Hosking. 66-/0-136; F. t Lewis, 68-68-136; A. Leyland,. 69-67-j 136, W. Wagstaff, 66-69-135; H. Wagl staif, 66-68-139; J. Taylor, 66-6<-133; ? L. Grover 66-65-131. A bus will leave the club’s 'hall at 6.45 on Friday evenj ing for Bulls. The teams are re- - quested to be early.
