FOUND DEAD IN SHED.
SHOTGUN BESIDE BODY.
TRIGGER TIED TO WALL.
WAIUKU, Sept. 24
Alongside the body of Mr Graham Eric Goodrick, which was found in a 6hed on the farm of Mr W. H. Mitchell, of Glenbrook, for whom he was working, was a single-barrelled shotgun with a discharged cartridge in the breech; the trigger was tied to the wall by a wire. There w-as a large shotgun wound across the man’s head. Deceased, who was 25 years of age, was the son of Mr and Mrs W. R. Goodrich, of Pukekohe. These statements were made at the inquest which was opened before the coroner, Mr A. M. Barriball, when it was stated by deceased’s father and brother that he had been in good health, and that there was no reason to think that he might take his own life. Evidence was also given that he was overhauling the gun in the shed last evening. ,
