MONEY SPENT IN NEW ZEALAND. ALLEGED WASTE. (By Telegraph. —Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 27. “We are spending stupendous sums of money on education in New Zealand and we are wasting a good deal of it,” said Mr A. Spencer, president of the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Association at the annual meeting. Mr Spencer said that he felt New Zealand was over-educating p its young people. There were very few “plums” among the positions offering and theso could not be divided among all those receiving higher education,.
