DISABLED STEAMER.
PART OF CARGO JETTISONED. (Australian Press Association). Received September 27, 8.50 a.m. COLOMBO, Sept. 26. Attempts to refloat the German steamer Hochst have not been successful. A heavy swell and the strong current have pushed the vessel further on the reef. A thousand tons of cargo have been jettisoned. _ . The crew are working in shifts day and night in order to keep tho water out of the holds.
