AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 26. At the Auckland swimming championships this evening, G. Bridson, the New Zealand champion, in winning the quni-ter-miie, lowered his own New Zealand record of smin 16 4-ssee by 3 l-osee. He also broke the Auckland record of 57 2-ssee for the 100 yards by 3-ssee. The Auckland team for the Dominion championships is as follows: Women : M. Fnrquhar, 100 yards. 220 vards 440 yards ahd 100 yards backstroke ; Miss P. Robertson, 100 yards, 220 and 440 yards; Miss N. Stratton, 100 and 220 yards free style and 100 vards backstroke; Miss. M. O’Meara, 220 yards breaststroke. Men : G. Bridson, 100 yards, 220 yards, 440 yards, 880 yards and one mile free. style; A. Rnper, 150 yards backstroke.
