COLLIERY EXPLOSION.

GALLANTRY OF RESCUE PARTIES

(British Official Wireless). RUGBY, Jan. 26. The explosion at the Llwynpia cob liery (South Wales) last night caused 11 deaths. Nearly 100 men were in the pit at the time and many of these received minor injuries through gas and shock. Great gallantry was displayed by the rescue parties.
