MR GAR WOOD’S ACHIEVE MENT,
Received January 28, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK Jan. 27. At Miami Beach, Florida, Mr Gar Wood registered a speed of 110:785 miles per hour in Miss America the Ninth to-claim the world’s speed boat record.- On his second run, Mr Wood made 110.49 miles per hour. ,
