WHEN THE AZTECS PLAYED GOLF.
A unique trophy is the Mexican amateur golf championship cup. It is a handsome massive silver cup, the chiseling of/ which took a 23-year-old Mexican silversmith an entire year. The frieze, top and sides of the cup depict an imaginary contest of the ancient and accepted Scottish game played centuries ago by Aztec athletes ana show the feathery figures applying niblicks and mashies with good effect.
