BOXING AT HASTINGS.
Per Press Association. NAPIER, Jan. 28. To the hearty approval of the audience at this evening’s professional boxing contest between Hannaberry and Sullivan in the Hastings Drill Hall, the referee, Mr J. D. Donovan, declined to give a decision. The bout was a farce from beginning to end. The audience at first took it ns a joke, but later became very impatient and counted the contestants out.
