APPOINTMENTS AND RESIGNATIONS.
The following resignations were received at the Wanganui Education Board’s meeting this week: —G. E. Barnes, head teacher Ohakea; N. M. May head, assistant, Halcombe; E. V. Bindon, assistant, Foxton D.H.; E. B. Newcomb, domestic science instructress, Feilding Centre; H. W. Lock, loie teacher, Porewa. The following teaching appointments were confirmed: Oroua Downs' Miss J. P„ Freeman, assistant; Greatford, •N. Bnrdes, head teacher; Foxton, R. A. J, M&xston, assistant; College Street, R. S. Warwick, assistant; Ohakune, R; Hartyy infant mistress; Milson’s Line, C. T. Spurdle, infant mistress; Rata, J. W.J Beattie, head teacher; Milson’s Line, J: Jordan assistant. _ Misses R. M. Smith and E. M. Nairn have been appointed probationary assistants at the Manchester Street School (Feilding). ‘
