ARMED BANDITS.
Four armed bandits, after parking and binding an elevator boy arid three servants, ransacked -an exclusive apartment flat, the town home of Mrs. Robert Leroy, New York. _ They escaped with three packets of jewels, which Mrs. Lerov at first feared contained most of her collection, worth £40,000. "When she had completed the inventory, however, she was delighted to find that burglars had overlooked many valuable pieces. What thoy stole was worth less than £6O.
