PAYMENTS TO FRANCE.
GERMAN GOVERNMENT’S REPLY.
(Times Cable.) Received February 1, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 31. Germany has paid 300,000 millions sterling in execution of the Treaty of Versailles, says a detailed estimate prepared for Berlin in reply to M. Flandin’s allegation that Germany has not paid Franco anything approaching the cost of reconstruction of the devastated territories.
