PERSIAN DISPUTE.
AIOB SURROUNDS OIL COMPANY’S OFFICES. TROOPS CALLED OUT. Received December 13. 8.50 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 12.
Jerusalem newspaper reports state that a mob surrounded the Anglo-Per-sian Oil Company’s offices at Abadan, threatening the staff. Troops were called out for their protection. The reports state also that oil wells at Atasjad and Suleimann, which are the company’s main source of supply, were invaded and damaged after the workers had gone home. The company’s London offices have no confirmation of the disturbances.
