RATES OF EXCHANGE.
LONDON, Dec. 9. The following rates on foreign exchanges were current io-day, as compared with
•Nominal. LAMBS DECREASE. SMALLER EWE FLOCK. Owing 1 to a decrease in the ewe flock, a drop is recorded in the estimated number of lambs for the Dominion for the present season, according to figures supplied by the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. C. E. Macmillan. The estimated proportion of lambs to breeding owes for the season is. however, higher than it has been for some years.
