AMERICAN MEMBERSHIP URGED

NEW YORK Dec. 11. General James Harbord and Mr John W. Davis, on behalf of the American Foundation, liavo forwarded a letter to the Senate, signed by a large group of representative Democrats and Republicans, urging prompt ratification of three pending treaties to bring about the nation’s adherence to the World Court, or at least settle the issue one way or the other. It is noted that the matter has been in abeyance for ten years. The letter urges the advisability of American membership of the court.
