UNEMPLOYMENT FUND
PAYMENTS ABOVE WAGE TAX. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. The aeting-Minister of Employment, Hon. A. Hamilton, in answer to the resolutions passer! at the Auckland public meeting on Sunday regarding the seriousness of the unemployment situation, intends to set out the position fully from the viewpoint of the Unemployment Eund. “As evidence that the hoard is straining every nerve to assist,” added Mr Hamilton, “our weekly allocations lor relief work are above our average weekly income from the wage tax.”
