MISSING MAIL.

FURTHER PARTICULARS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. Further details of the missing three bags of registered mail front the liner Remuera, which arrived, in Wellington from London on October 2, have been received from the British Post Office by the Secretary of the General Post Office in Wellington. It is established that 168 registered articles in all are missing, the great majority being for North Island destinations. The majority of the articles originated in England and a considerable number in Scotland. The offices of posting and the registered numbers borne by the articles are known to the post office. Particulars are not recorded, however, of the addressee and the department is unable to intimate to whom the various articles were addressed.
