SPIRIT OF DETERMINATION.

OVERCOMING DIFFICULTIES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 13. The Prince of Wales in a speech today paid a tribute to tlie manner in which Britain is fighting tlie world .depression. “The world realises, he said, that, although we are suffering like other countries during these bad times, we are not over-depressed. As has happened to us in the past in the great struggles of our history, the very magnitude of our difficulties has aroused a spirit of determination to overcome them.” The Prince referred to Ins recent visits to industrial areas, and said that some wonderful work had been done, and was being done, in developing new means of employment. Evidence of British confidence would give confidence to other countries and thus stimulate a general recovery.
