CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER.

PATEA, Dec. 16.

The story of the shooting of William James Garradus from ambush outside his residence in Devon Street, Patea-, on October 20 was related in the Patea Police Court to-day when Alexander Myles appeared before Justices of the Peace, on a charge of having attempted to murder Mr Carradus. Ten witnesses are being called, but the bearing is expected to be completed to-day.
