MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

Pei* Pref*s Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 17. Two employees of an insurance company were charged to-day with theft of £165, the property of the company. They were Clarence Alfred Palmer, aged 30, and Walter Vernon Wiseman, aged 33. They were remanded till December 22, bail being allowed. The police stated that one of the accused was a cashier and the other chief clerk. The amount in the charge was one of several they would be charged with.
