BADLY BURNED.
Per Press Association. TE KUITI, Dec. 17. Mr J. A. Nicol, a grader driver, was cleaning his clothing and threw cotton waste, saturated with benzine, into the fire in his hut. The flames shot out and ignited his clothing. Mr Nicol was badly burned down the side. He was taken to the Te Kuiti Hospital and is making satisfactory progress.
