CONSULTATION WITH ECONOMISTS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 17. ' Denying that Cabinet had summoned the leading economists of the Dominion for a conference to advise on a plan for the rehabilitation of New Zealand's financial position, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes stated to-day that the Minister of Finance had simply invited to Wellington members of the National Economy Commission with a view to the report presented some time ago by that body being brought up to date in certain respects. Mr Forbes declared that _ Cabinet had not had conference with the economists concerning the future policy for the country.
