SOVIET AND CHINA. DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS. IMPORTANCE EMPHASISED. (United Press Association-—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 17, 8.55 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 16. The Riga’ correspondent of the Times says that the Soviet newspapers, commenting on the restoration of the Soviet-Chinese diplomatic relations, emphasise the importance of Chinese co-operation with the Soviet in the Far East.
The Pravda, however, also uses the occasion to review the Communist activity in China, declaring that Red detachments are progressing greatly in various parts and that the Chinese Communist Party is mobilising the masses and rallying the whole ot China for the overthrow of the Kuomintang and the establishment of a Soviet Government in China.
