AFTER CHURCH RALLY.

Aided by the Salvation Army Band and vocalists, Mr Harry Dawson conducted an after-church rallv in the Opera House last evening, there was a large attendance Mr Dawson spoke of great future events as propirGsiecl by the Bible, his lecture being lllustrated. The musical portion of the rally was opened with community singing conducted by Ensign lhorne. The band contributed two carols. Mesdames Prince and Dawson gave a splendid rendering of the duet, “My Task,” while Mrs Dawson was later heard to advantage in a contralto solo, “God—Just the Same.” Mr and Mrs Prince contributed the duet, “Wachman, What of the Night, at an interval in Mr Dawson s address, the rendering being received with a great deal of pleasure. Ensign Thorne, on behalf of the audience, thanked Mr Dawson fpr his successful meetings and hoped in the near future it would be possible for a return visit. The collection was given to the Salvation Army Christmas cheer fund. The service throughout was most impressive and inspiring and the audience was representative of many churches. Mr and Mrs Dawson were kept busy for some considerable time at the close shaking hands with a large number who had been spiritually helped during the mission.'
