EXAMINATIONS IN MUSIC.

At the musical examinations held at the Rosary Convent, Oaniaru, on December 6 and 14 ; Miss Vera Jones was successful in obtaining the A.T.C.L. diploma for pianoforte; and also passed tire final grade in pianoforte and the higher division singing, in the Associated Board’s examination. She obtained rudiments in the Trinity College examination held in June last, and is awaiting the result of the art of teaching examination held on December 3. Miss Jones was awarded the Trinity College certificate of special merit during the year.
