SWIMMING

HOKOWHITU CLUB’S CARNIVAL. The Hokowhitu garden swimming baths were the scene of an enjoyable carnival conducted by the Hokowhitu Swimming Club last evening. There was a large and enthusiastic attendance of spectators despite the cold wind, and the close finishes which characterised the majority of the events were fully appreciated.
