BURGLARY IN CITY.
PREMISES BROKEN INTO! Gaining access by forcing a rear door, a burglar entered the premises of Messrs Ritchie and Liffiton, Ltd., electrical engineers and radio dealers, in Cuba Street last Friday night, and secured £5 in cash. The intruder evidently made a close search of the premises, and found an envelope in which the money had been placed. An unsuccessful attempt was made to force a cash-box containing 7s 6d, and the office was left in a state of disorder.
