TAXES PAID IN PRODUCE.
HOW THE SOVIET COLLECTS. Received December 21, 12.5 p.m. MOSCOW, Dec. 20. Tlio system of contract collecting of dairy p'roduce from farms has been supplemented by a new method under which the producers pay their taxes in milk, butter and cheese. .There already is an outcry against the injustice of the fixed scale of values; for example, a farmer is credited with only fourpence per litre for milk the market value of which is ten shillings.
