MOTORING RECORD.

BRITISH CAR’S SUCCESS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 20. The new motoring record for 24 hours, in the 750 c.c. class, was set up by a British car on the Montherv track, Paris ,to-day. Messrs Eyston, Denley and Wisdom, taking three-hour turns at the wheel of a little seven-horse-power car of a standard pattern, covered between yesterday afternoon' and this afternoon 2727 kilometres, approximately 1704 miles. The previous record stood at 2534 kilometres, approximately 1554 miles.
