NEW LAUNCH DESTROYED.
FIRE IN THE SOUNDS. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM. Dec. 22. The large 80-passenger motor launch Tinopai, which was recently built at Auckland for Mr N. Steel, of Picton, was totally destroyed by fire while anchored at Torea last night. The launch party were ashore enjoying a moonlight picnic. There is no insurance on the vessel, which cost £2OOO.
