LIQUOR LEGISLATION.

BILL IN UNITED STATES* Received December 23, 12.55 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 22. Senator Borah said in an informal statement to-day that the House Beer Bill was a nullification of the constitution because 3.2 beer was intoxicating. Senator Norris, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said ho believed the Beer Bill came within the constitution and he called on the committee to consider it on Monday. The indications late to-day, however, were that a vote will be forced in the Senate on the Bill to-morrow.
