WAIATA.
(From Our Own <’orrespondont.) WAIATA. Dec. 22. Haymaking in in full awing in the Colvton and Waiata districts and the crops are reported to be very heavy. The sunny days have been ideal for the occupation, and if the weather continues fine the work should bo completed much earlier than iinual this yea r. Rev. A. Fotheringharn’s many friends will he pleased to learn that he is making a sufficient recovery after his recent operation to enable him to conduct the special service to be held in the Waiata Presbyterian Church on Chrintmas morning.
