Edited by the nursing staff at the Poriru'a institution, an interesting little publication entitled “The Hospitalian” has come to hand. It discusses athletic activities in entertaining fashion and besides providing social notes, has space for literary contributions.
What is claimed to be the largest power station in Great Britain, costing £3,000,000, was opened at Dun-ston-on-Tyne on November 1. Attention is drawn to the notice appearing on the front page of this issue of the Hornet Model Aero Club’s first annual danco to be held on Monday (Boxing Night). The objects of the dance are to raise funds to send a team of boys to Auckland to compete for the Now Zealand Championship, tho winner being ontitlod to a free trip to Sydnoy to compete there. Ice cream and soft drinks will bo available in the hall.
