TALENTED BOYS COMING. PRESENTING A BIG REVUE. Carrying their own scenery, properties and an accompanying ten-piece orchestra, as well as a crack band of 30 instrumentalists, the Y.A.L. boys will present their big revue, “The Sleeping Camp,” at the Opera House, Palmerston North, commencing Saturday next, December 31st. The fame of the Y.A.L. boys lias, spread all over the world. Little Charlie Stanton, the eight-year-old drum-major of the Y.A.L. boys, is not only tho smallest and youngest member of his profession it. the world, but he is an accomplished comedian atul acrobat, while lie conducts the band orchestra. No wonder expert critics have said that Hollywood cannot turn out an equal to Charlie Stanton. Crowds flock to see this little genius. Tho Y.A.L. boys wero conducted by the late John Philip Sousa, who said, “It is the finest. boys band in the world.” The box plan is now open at tho Central Booking Oflico, wliero seats may be reserved. PICTURE THEATRES. “Good Night Vienna,” the British Dominions film which comes to the Regent Theatre to-morrow evening, starring the popular screen liguro, Jack Buchanan, in its lirst week of its London showing smashed all known film records in that city. It is undoubtedly one of tho most sensational screen successes the British film industry has so far known. By this picture’s popular reception in London, it is amplo proof that without exception the British film product is acceptable to all movie-goers the world over. The Palaco Theatre announces the showing of “Mayfair Nights,” tho British production produced at the Warner Bros.’ studio at Teddington, near Lop don, beginning to-morrow afternoon at 2. “Mayfair Nights” lias been produced on an elaborate scale, with Isobcl Elsom, tho famous English actress, heading a largo cast that includes Ivor Barnard, Margot Graliaine, D. A. Clarke-Smith, Moira Lynd, Edgar Norfolk, Walter Patch and Margaret Darner, all of whom are leading figures on the London stage. Tho feature attraction commencing tomorrow at tho Kusy is a picturisation of the Harold McGrath thriller, “Drums of Jeopardy.” The story tells of the diabolical revenge taken by a mad chemist oil the members of a family, one of whom was responsible for the death of his daughter. Warner Oland of “Fumanchu” fame plays tho leading role.
