CANADIAN LEGAL DECISION. OTTAAAIA, Dec. 24. For the first time in Canadian history an acquittal in a murder case has been disallowed by tire Supreme Court, forcing a citizen to place his life in jeopardy, twice for the same offence. On an appeal the New Brunswick Attorney-General secured a new trial in the case of Norman Pitts, who had been acquitted by a jury Of slaying his neighbour in an affray.
