SHANNON, Dec. 27. j At a meeting of the swimming baths : committee it was decided to ask the fol- ! lowing bodies each to appoint a delegate to work in conjunction with the commit- j tee: Women’s Institute, Bowling Club, j Tennis dub, Golf Club, Cricket Club, j Football dub. Majtgacre Social Club, j Girls' Club. Girl Guides. Labour Party j Fire Brigade, and the teaching staff of I the school. About 25 guests gathered at the home ; of Mr and Sirs Brassingtcn, the occasion ! being the 21st birthday of their son Arthur. ■ A happy evening was spent in games, in- j terspersed with musical items. The guest ! of hcr.our received many congratulations. Christmas passed off very quietly in ' Shannon. j ' I
